Ahhhh boy. Maybe I set my sights too high, or I don't really push myself, or my headache was more pounding then my feet, but man! I was aiming for a 1,000 skips with my skip rope, and ended with only 400 in 3:10.
Next time, I’m going to try doing just high knees. without a skip rope, we’ll see how that goes.

Yay, good for you! You made it! Awesome awesome!
As for building up your upper body strength you could try doing what I've started to do. A couple times a day I try to bang out a few sets of 10-20 push ups. The goal being to do 50 or more push ups a day. its fun to break it up here and there.

Sorry, that comment was suppose to go be related to your last post of doing 1000 skips and losing your upper body strength. I realized I pushed the wrong common button.
